what we do
What We Do
And Why We Do It.
We pick up your used furniture and household goods, clean and repair them, as needed, so they can be donated to Habitat for Humanity's resale store, ReStore.
We can pick your items up from your curb, or if you need assistance getting something out of your house or yard, we are more than happy to help--and always wear our masks and gloves for your protection.

We believe everyone should have access to decent housing, which is why we strongly support Habitat's philosophy of helping people who help themselves. Their motto is "a hand up, not a handout".
Prior to COVID-19, we volunteered at Habitat for Humanity, both at ReStore and actually swinging hammers to construct a home for a low-income family. We found the work extremely satisfying. But once COVID-19 hit, Habitat for Humanity was forced to halt all in-person volunteering, and our opportunities to help Habitat vanished---or so we thought.

One day while Ben was rehabilitating a sprained ankle with daily walks through our neighborhood, he happened to notice how much good stuff people were putting out on their curbs for free pickup by others. On a single day, he saw a bookshelf, a filing cabinet, and several chairs, all in decent condition. It was then we realized that we could easily continue helping Habitat by collecting these items, and doing what was needed so they could be resold in the ReStore to raise money for Habitat for Humanity's mission. This is how reGifting for Good was born!

Most people we know have things they may no longer want or need, and these items may be really useful to someone else. If you have extra stuff, we hope that you will contact us! We take pride in cleaning and fixing things in our garage so they'll sell for a good price in the ReStore. And it truly helps us all whenever unwanted furniture and household goods are reused and kept out of the landfills.
